Hey guys, I was thinking of some better ways for us to share our writing and I decided to set up a Facebook group. Check it out here.

Also, maybe it would be easier if we all published our writing on the Facebook application Notes as well as on our own individual blogs. This would allow us to tag each other and also make it easier to leave comments.

We can also put up the topic announcement on the discussion board. For all other messages we can use this blog because it sends email updates.

Lydia utilized her knowledge of the law and wrote a splendid piece, which retold the story of Jesus' crucifixion in a modern day context.

Jean explored a complicated relationship between a man and a woman half his age.

Aaron wrote a wildly funny piece, which was based on a true story (all the names changed of course).

James wrote about the unbearable pressure that an adolescent faced in trying to be what her parents wanted her to be.

Kristy wrote a piece about life and how it sometimes just plain sucks.

This month's title was Smile Like You Mean It. Lydia came up with it while listening to music on her iPod. Inspiration can come from anywhere.

Okay so this month, Aaron had some technical problems and ended up losing his entire story. But still, he managed to recover and did a non-fiction piece on smiling.

I (Jeannette) did a fictional piece (as usual) about a serial killer. Read it on Believe Nothing.

Kristy wrote from a personal point of view. Who knows if the thoughts written on smiling were fictional or truly her thoughts?

Lydia gets into the head of a girl in an action-filled world. Her story illustrated the possibility of smiling like you mean it even when you don't.

This month's title was "Holy Communion".

Lydia wrote a coming-of-age-tale. See Holy Communion by Lydia.

Aaron wrote a story from the perspective of one half of a pair of twins. See his version of Holy Communion.

Kristy did a two part story from two different perspectives. Check out the man's perspective and then check out the woman's. Get into the heads of the cheater and the cheated on.

I (Jeannette) wrote a piece completely unrelated to the ritual of holy communion. Instead, I explored the linguisic meaning of the words "holy communion", which I took to mean sacred communication. Check it out here.
